Have a problem with a machine you have purchased?
Warranty
All privately sold machinery come with a 3 Month engine & gearbox return to base warranty, machinery sold to commercial users or companies have a 1 month return to base engine and gearbox warranty.
This does not include belts, pullies, blades, bearings, tyres, tracks, starter motors, alternators, batteries, carburettors, diesel injectors, fuel pumps, oil leaks, shafts, PTO's, springs, bolts, wrong or contaminated fuel including running rough or not idling, steering, serviceable & perishable parts such as filters & spark plugs.
No warranty at all is implied or given to trade items, spares or repairs items or items sold with known faults.
All machinery whether its collected or delivered must be returned to our base for any warranty claims at the expense of the buyer. We can assist with the transport but it will be charged at £1 a mile round trip. If the equipment is repaired under warranty this will be refunded and the machine will be returned free of charge.
Unless authorised in writing we don't cover any machine that has been taken apart, dismantled or worked on by any other company, this includes manufactures and specialists. Under no circumstances will we cover cost of any repairs undertaken by the buyer or a third party unless confirmed by ourselves in writing. We do not accept responsibility for loss of time under any circumstance.
Making A Warranty Claim

Terms Of Sale
If the machine requires adjustment or setting up to customers needs, this is the responsibility of the buyer. All the machines we sell must be purchased by competent users and we will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by miss use or damage or injury by an incompetent user.
Purchase in person, its up to the buyer to fully check, test and satisfy themselves with the condition including the workings of the machine upon viewing. We insist on a full test of all our machinery upon purchase. If the machine requires adjustment or setting up to the customers needs this is the responsibility of the buyer. Once deal is agreed and invoice is paid then the customer agrees to these terms of our warranty above.
Website, Distance & Over The Phone Purchases (with our delivery service)
We will deliver your machine (unless otherwise stated) in full working order. When our truck arrives it's the buyers responsibility to fully check the condition and workings of the machine, if the buyer can not accept delivery in person its there own responsibility to make sure someone can act on their behalf. We allow as much time as you need to do this. Our drivers will assist with a full demonstration on request and will only leave site once the buyer is fully happy with the description, condition and workings of the machine. Once the driver has left, the buyer agrees to our warranty terms. If the buyer is not completely satisfied then the driver will load up the machine and return it to our premises, we will process a full refund within 24 hours, normally this is done within 1 hour. Website, Distance Purchase & Over The Phone Purchase (collecting in person or sending someone on buyers behalf)
On collection the machine is to be to fully checked, tested and the condition fully inspected including the workings of the machine before loading. If the buyer is not completely satisfied before loading we will offer a full refund as per our refund policy.
If the buyer is not collecting the machine in person then this is not our responsibility, the person collecting the machine is acting as a representative of the buyer.
Once the machine leaves our site then this confirms the buyer is happy with the item and agrees with our warranty terms
Refund Policy
If the machine can not be fixed under warranty or the buyer is not happy with the machine on delivery or upon collection we will offer a full refund, including delivery/collection costs if damaged. This will be processed within 24 hours and returned to the bank account where we received the original payment from.
Returning Machine For Refund
If the machine is damaged we will not accept any kind of returns at all, if we collect a machine that has been damaged by customer we will charge an hourly rate of £75 plus parts. If a customer returns a machine we will give the machine a full inspection and any damages will be charge at the full rate. Even if we delivered the machine we will not collect machine for a refund this is the buyers responsibility to return this to our base.
All equipment remains the property of Used Machinery 4 Sale until paid for in full.
